“Luminous” emerged from a spiritual practice that induces wholeness and balance. This practice integrates the physical, mental and spiritual existence into a state that is at once centering and expansive so that one is brought back to this space and time, and to oneself.

The circles are created through a process of slow mark making — requiring concentration at the same time quieting the mind. Each mark nurtures the soul — like a meditation. The heart speaks to the hand and the hand heals the heart. The circles are also luminous. Objects that calm. The form is universal and speaks to her identity of belonging everywhere and nowhere. It speaks to belonging to our common humanity.
